in the case of any misunderstanding
Looking back at our preliminary piece we have made some major improvements and people have pointed out that in our preliminary piece that the match on action was not to heavily focused on during the editing stage, and me and row realised the significant of this in future projects, and a most improved area is the panning where in the preliminary we had a very jagged and not flowing pan shot and while in ours it has flowed better and also our editing skills have improved because we have stuck to the 180 rule better, also the editing was also immensely improved through the use of own thinking of getting different camera angle shots to make it seem more realistic as a film and it was flowing easier without any wooden, acting, and in our main piece compared to other we have also got rid of any unwanted sounds unlike in the preliminary where you can hear people in the background, and the continuity of sound was maintained throughout and we have introduced effective music to compliment our style of film. And also learned throughout the necessity of trying to find the right location to keep out unwanted sounds.

What does a production company do? A production company is responsible for supervising the filming from concept to completion, and they hold the sole legal and financial responsibility of the movie as a whole and also take care of other stuff like actors and getting the music we wanted, and they also hold responsibility for the film if its bombs at the cinema since they are the one being paid to do piece, and they would fund it end to finish, draft out film for the actors, hire out writers for the script and make sure it of good condition
The idea of a distributor and who that might be and why.
There could be several distributors for this type of low end budget film and there could be many such as the UKFC because they would like to take on low budget films through there connections to others eg the BBC as in the case of shifty, or we could always go alternative and hope for online popularity to get it noticed and this would have the advantage of being free and holding down no copyrights.

Where the money might have come from for a film such as yours?
The UKFC if still funded could be a possible venture because if the scripts stands up to the test and it is unique or interesting enough it would be part of the microwave scheme and be part of a local film agency so we can at least produce the product.

For our audience research we did a wide range of tactics to get the best answers and what we do in the film to make it more popular, we did this by asking people what there favourite films action comedy film and down to many knowledgably students about cross genres and the most popular answer was hot fuzz and the general feeling was that off that the combinations of the characters played and they made references that we should do something like and we took that on board in essence of the film and opening 2 minutes, other research we did tended to show that this would be a more male orientated film and should be to complicated but at the same time not to dumb as to insult the viewer so like most cross genre films we needed to strike the balance of action and comedy and again taking a leaf out of hot fuzz they did that with critical acclaim, we also talked about the aspect among the group we was interviewing ( joe pike, luke and alex) and since they where also fellow media students we could do this a media way and relevant and we do some back n forth with some banter in-between and they talked about the concern that is the chase scene had dominated saying it’s a good start but if it dragged there would not be much point down to time constraint, but they said the genre suited us and further we asked whether was important and to what degree and they said it is crucial to get the atmosphere and beautiful music can make a opening and they said annoying music ruin it like if we just did a reoccurring rift, They also talked about the theories and norms of opening a title and as joe pike pointing out that a good film should show the main actors and the production so we took that one board, and then other research suggested our films should be aimed for a mid range market of 15-24 to attract more people, and through an immense convo on the face book ( cant be put on blogger for reasons beyond) and they said are style of filming could lead to the film being to stupid and deepan so what we did looked at some videos of professions and thinking it would not be that hard to replicate and considering only 2 minutes we would be very good at the stuff like that and not to mention our former past of the underdogs will help as the research find out that many people where impressed with the underdogs and thinking we have the talent to do more.

Health and safety is an important issue for any media production and this will not be taken lightly and all stocks will be used to stop any injury to the people involved or damage to the equipment which in good faith we have been allowed to use and such things for first would be if we had wires we would tape them to the ground so people don’t trip over it, and other key important issue when we do are filming near a road well will have to weary of not being hit by a car and looking out for any other road related health and safety concerns and possibly avoid this issue by working near an area where it is not common to have traffic, and we would look out for any weather related scenarios such as lightning we would take away the camera in case we get hit, and health and safety is paramount for this film because of the chase scene so the actor would do some stretches before hand so not to pull a muscle ( likewise if we did a swimming scene) Another risk we have to assess is the weather for example if it is raining and we are working with electrical equipment there is a possibility we could get electrocuted. And as we go by we will keep on assessing the danger

And also we make sure the bin we kick over have nothing in it and we would not use a car because the law permits we cant

I looked at the film because its funny and has cops and contrasting characters who compliment each other like our characters in our own film
It starts with high pitched Chinese music so we know where this is going to be set all ready and the studio company new line cinemas can be seen, then it you a forest and some dramatic music to get into the idea of a serious action film and when over the forest the credits start rolling off people who in the film and makes it ect, then quickly the rush hour 2 jumps on screen to suggest its quick pace and possibility on ninjas involvement, and then you release how big the Chinese city and you know something bad going to happen , and then the film gets even more serious because you some form of American embassy in china and that’s is a huge storyline because it can be involved on so many levels, and along with this a women is holding a package of some kind and when it keeps shooting shots on the outside of busy and prosperous Chinese markets and serious inside it can mean that people are ignorant of what happens at the top and this film requires a higher mode of thinking, and you can see the women walking down the corridor dressed in black to suggest a shodery figure and cant be trusted and this jux opposed with a pirate ship looking ship, and the general themes of this is money and only leading to bad things with similar tempo music they did in oceans 11, and then she passes the package to the women and shoots to her walking to create suspense and then the tower explodes and then she says “ better call the cops” in a smug way knowing that she is in control,
And the first scene lasted about 2.15s
To note straight after the main two characters are introduced singing cheesy pop songs suggesting they are not very clever

The Shaun of the dead logo has a usual red and white to it the red representing the
blood and possible danger as mostly in the world of cinematography and even
further possibly the meaning of romance, while the white is unceasing on the eyes
and looks like a whitewash possibly suggesting a post nuclear apocalypse, the
hands in the background and foreground possibly add the effect of how this would
effect everything but in contrast with the titles names with one persons name, it
also suggest the uprising of the dead which is also in the title saying that they are
zombie but from this you would not of gathered it would have been a comedy only
from the tagline of “ a romantic comedy, with zombies” and inventing a rare breed
of rom zom com with action , and from these basics colour it of also suggest a
reasonably simple storyline and a clear narrative, and for the title itself it is in big
bulky words and also seem concrete like to suggest the gothicness of the zombies
and the clever way they used a zombies hand for the dead to suggest that deaths is
inevitable and its quite dangerous, another point to consider is that the hands look
like they may be having a party to suggest the fun side of the films and there all
coming towards the name of Shaun to suggest that he would be the main person

　This is the title of hot fuzz and the thirst thing you notice that the behind is black and that could represent the protective bullet proof jacket or just to show danger but this is unclear, you can see the badge quite clear and by this you can also tell its going to be a film about cops but as everyone knows Sanford is a place not well known for crime but just a farming community and this plays well in the narrative of the film of not much happening but there actually killing everyone who doesn
　

For starters the colour are quite retro colour like the 1980s with a jazzy cool style and this is contrasting because the film is about young people but the titles does have jazzy music involved, and the blue line look like waves and it contrast with the orange on the colour spectrum but is still easy on the eye so that creates and interesting effect and it would also create a platform for the title which is like a cartoon from a comic book suggesting younger teenage humour and how it is like 3d effect to emphasis that it is superbad and that contrast because it was a good film but there where to many moments which nothing was happening.

The following list of tips was created by me to summarize points made in the Planning The Chase Scene
To create an effective chase scene, follow these seven tips on things to consider while choreographing a chase:

1. Understand the purpose of the scene in the overall plot of the film

2. Understand what your characters can and cannot do. Like a fat person cant chase down usian bolt down a street or people not reacting to the chase scene

3. Understand the limitations of the setting you have selected. Like how are they meant to get round the fence or are they allowed to drive a car

4. Adjust music to try and speed up the tempo of the feeling

5. use a place that can be used to film a chase scene so there would be no continue problems
6.there are several ways you can do a chase scene but try and aviod repetition or to many similar shots in a short period and don’t try to many cuts so you cant see anything and try and make it more interesting like a person running into a lamppost or a tree

7. give the viewer something that they would understand what fully happening like if it was a sporadic chase scene
And avoid using clichés or having ending which don’t make sense

character description

Our characters
PC blain is a quite serious cop where he dedicated towards his work and he does not slack on the job and get annoyed when he cant contribute towards justice or being active all the time because his work has taken over his social life if almost seem like his character cannot turn off from work duties, despite this he has to cope with incompetence of his best mate and co worker PC Flanagan which he feels equals him out and often finds him amusing if not annoying at some times,
PC Flanagan
Is a lazy cop who never see the point of justice and crime busting when it can just be done by someone else, his lazy attitudes creates a settles if not a boring character but his lay back attitude makes him a favourite at the police station and he can often take a joke at his expense because he is that great in his mind, he often very lazy and hygiene is low on his list of priorities
Together they compliment each other well to create a comedy duo as they get up to shenanigans and they play good cop bad cop which often ended up a bit of a farce if integrating people, but they make our film good and they both can do other abilities like PB blain is good with maths while PC Flanagan is good at getting into people mind which would be necessary is we was making the entire film

actors we look like

this would give a better idea for casting ( well we all ready done that) but its good to know what film we could aspire to such as these one which are shown in them and i do think the resemblance is uncanny

wall mart cop

For the opening to this films its starts in the usual fashion of the company that made it and released it off Columbia studios, the other people who also contributed to it appeared called happy Madison, the opening music is tense and has a repetitive drum solo while you can see on object in gold going around making it a big enigmatic, and while this you look at this object for several seconds you can see other titles, but then you realise that it is a police badge making it seem honourable and suits in with the music and the film, the first shot you see is the new jersey police station and further on you see people doing a the regular activities of running around in a white shirt and police officer shouting at them and is to be taken as a serious institution, you can see the camera moving to uninterested average people with a shirt saying police academy then you see Paul Blart eating to give the stereotype he is fat and he is the only person with a moustache suggesting his is older and less physical able then others, you can hear dramatic music and heavy breathing to suggest that he cant move very well and the music to kind of patronise him, there a zoom away shot with his face deeply concentrating like he trying to make an effort and exaggerated arms movement for comedic effect, and the jumper is white to show that he is sweating so people would laugh at him and that why they did in a bay style to exaggerate his belly movement for comedic effect again, the music changes so he seem like he is a hero for doing a regular exercise and also that he is overtaking over people in a funny manner so it suggest its not taking itself seriously as a film and that’s a stereotypical of these types of comedies and this is furthered more that he does a backflip and looks like it was no effort to do it, and then he sees the finishing line about to come first ( to say the least that would have been unexpected) so he dashes to the line and then collapses to fall as sleep and execrated movements just towards the lines means that he failed despite almost coming first and this suggest that further tasks in the rest of the film is going to be a challenge and he needs to overcome them in a funny way

Music for the media project had to be free and non copyright because using copyrighted music without permission can get people in trouble since it is used for public use or you could get the permission from the artist but this could be tricky, but there a few websites which do allow free music and even noises if we could not record everything eg like a phone ringing or a kettle boiling and website like free sound does this and so does de wolfe music which has non copyright music from a varying amount genres and garage musicians and you can also get recurring piano or guitar riffs and notes to create a basic atmosphere
Its like we would of wanted some bluesy jazzy music and then some up tempo music to fit the scenes but it was luck that the theme of Beverly hills cops became such a hit and only know is we could create such a theme tune of the calibre
And that’s another thing to be like in some cases they don’t have individual music but a theme tune to a film like that film with Phil Collins ( with hair) playing all his songs when he played the great train robbers to launch his career back into chart hits,

Definitions of roles in the movieIn the world of cinemas you can easily guess or assume what someone does for example the make up person does that make up but some a bit vague and could imply a lot of other jobs and commitments while making the film ( if you Steven Spielberg he can direct and be an actor in the same film) and in the credit’s the average 300 people on the credits and more
Producer is the person who helps create the films and possibly comes up with initial idead and they look at imager and represent throughout and often come up quite early in the credits, and arranges how the film is going top be released
Cameraman, there are many now in use of modern film to try and get all angles and possibly for the deleted scenes and extra scenes for the fans and they use heavy tripods and higher definition and even 3d lenses for an increasing 3d market
Director is the person who actually films it and uses the miss en scene and directs the scenes to get certain effects and often work in hand in hand to get the film done
Editor.
It is where they get all the footage and a professional combines it to be the final product and air brushes to in case of mistakes ( but doesn’t always work because in pirates of the Caribbean you can see a cameraman in the background of the fight scene) and ends up with the final products

Comedy is a wide genre that eclipses in many other categories and more commonly with the romantic one such as love actually and an increasing slice of pie for the zombie ones such classics as zombieland and Shaun of the dead and then you get the deadpan ( bit stupid) ones such as duds where my car, and for this acting would not be hard because you pass of bad acting as being part of the hilariousness

Films about crime tend to also be historical one because it is more interesting such as a huge grand collection of mafia based films such as the goodfellas and the godfather and where they have higher prestige actors and these tend to be big blockbusters

Edgy and Indy films are one not made by big companies and tend to have a more human element or tells stories of not well known stories and often is a minimalist style of emotional aspect of suffering and they tend to have different styles to be different

Horror is also a wide genre but it tends to have moments which scares and tends to be of the supernatural ( making the main difference from a thriller) and uses suspense and unexpected along with gory gothic violence which some people may find offensive such as saw

And then you have musicals which tend to be one of happier moods ( unless it was that one done about depressing band) and they like to break out in dancing and they tend to live happily with the character overcoming obstacles though the magic of dance and cheesy pop music and that why many that are not filmed that well get panned by the critics but from personnel experience mama mia was not as band as thought it was going to be

and since we are doing an action comedy you can combine to well flexible genres into one great film and thanks to our choice there loads to choose from

For the first 18 seconds the paramount logo comes up with the typical animations but with Arabic music to suggest that the first scene would be not American and this is proven to be the case when you see Beirut which goes with the music but also shows danger because this is a place known for conflict suggesting a more serious films then it is known to be. Then wailing music starts to happen and at 31 seconds guards at the door looking serious suggesting more danger about to occur and something big happening in a unstable area and again in most of the opening minute you see people hiding there faces with the typical ak 47 and pick up trucks usually associated with terrorism

But then it starts to become a more parody by each global leader ( associated with terrorism and anti Americanism) and try and outdo each other in terms of evilness making a mockery of global politics,
 At the two minute mark the typical superhero music starts to happen and starts fighting the leaders in a clumsy fashion getting rid of the preconception that this was a serious film and with exaggerated  movements and fighting especially where he makes a head look like a boxing equipment
The childish humour does not fit the characters which they are portrayed but it does make quite a lot of gags like rubbing of the famous mark of gorbachev  and putting a Mohican on a fundamentalist Islamic group

The main title is about 3,50 minutes and in the first 15 seconds was just new line cinema title
The first shot you see is a women but she isn’t the a main character
You can see a goofy (weird teeth and weird haircut) looking Jim Carrey suggesting the stupidly of the comedy and this is enforced when he gets the wrong accent and the wrong country and confusing Austria with Australia and also showing how socially awkward he is
